Building Financial Capability within Communities – Collaborative Exploration Networking Event

Building Financial Capability within Communities – Collaborative Exploration Networking Event

Venue:  iCentrum, Holt Street, Birmingham.

How can we collaborate to support the financially struggling within the Black Country through technology?

An event run by Dudley Building Society in partnership with SuperTech.

Across the Black Country, individuals are stuck in a cycle of generational financial difficulty, and lack the control, knowledge, and confidence to be able to break this cycle.

Dudley Building Society, want to work together to understand how the communities that they serve can be better supported through financial challenges and that there is a role for technology within this discussion.

So, join us on the morning of the 15th of May to help us better understand and explore how technology might be used to enhance support services for financially struggling young families within the Black Country.

We’re bringing together fintechs, charities, organisations, and local authorities that all have the common goal of supporting people with their financial capability.

Each representative of a charity, organisation, or a local authority will have time to speak with each fintech about the challenges they see people facing when managing their finances.

From these conversations we hope that you can better understand how technology can be tailored to meet the specific needs of these individuals.
