FINANCIAL FIRMS, TELECOMS AND TECHNOLOGY LEADERS LAUNCH A COLLABORATIVE PROGRAMME IN INTERNATIONAL FRAUD AWARENESS WEEK TO TACKLE FINANCIAL CRIME ACROSS THE UK
As part of International Fraud Awareness week, 11 industry partners including BT, HSBC, Morgan Stanley, Abrdn, TSB, Virgin Money, Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays, Fujitsu, Equifax and Dudley Building Society are collaborating to launch an innovation programme focused on addressing financial crime. As part of the Financial Regulation Innovation Lab, FinTech Scotland, SuperTech West Midlands, and Greater Manchester Combined Authority will lead the UK wide innovation call aiming to create an environment for collaborative innovation in order to tackle financial crime challenges.

The Financial Regulation Innovation Lab (FRIL) is an industry-led collaborative research and innovation programme focused on leveraging new technologies to respond to, shape, and help evolve the future regulatory landscape in the UK and globally, helping to create new employment and business opportunities, and enabling the future talent. Founded by FinTech Scotland in partnership with University of Glasgow and University of Strathclyde, SuperTech is collaborating to help expand the reach and impact across the UK.
SUPERTECH PLANTS SEEDS TO MAKE BUSINESS IDEAS FLY
SuperTech is launching its latest pre-accelerator programme for new firms in the West Midlands who need technology to fly. Up for grabs is over £10,000 investment of development time and learning support as part of the package to make ten new businesses ready to trade.
