This month saw the launch of the Impact Report, outlining some of the key milestones achieved by the ProfTech sector in the West Midlands, which were celebrated with a reception hosted by City of London Corporation. As we look forward to October and the SuperTech Fringe Programme, at Birmingham Tech Week, one of the highlights will be our collaboration with finance provider, BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK, to host Connector Series ‘Live’, an initiative that partners burgeoning FinTech firms with data or AI solutions, with senior executives across the business. We are also inviting innovative SMEs and founders to be part of next month’s Connector Series 2023 cohort!
Launch of our Impact Report
This month, we launched our annual Impact Report, which outlines the growth of Next Generation Services in Birmingham and the West Midlands. Some of the key headline figures from the report include:
£474M – Estimated economic output from FinTech sector in WM
Double – FinTech productivity almost twice regional average per worker
542% - Growth in start-ups and scale-ups in WM PropTech sector
3,000 - Growing workforce across WM LawTech and rest of ProfTech sector
Leading figures from the regional and national ProfTech sectors gathered at Guildhall in the City to share success stories.

Calling AI FinTech firms
BNP Paribas Personal Finance is seeking innovative FinTechs/ Tech companies with expertise in AI and Data to help build their future roadmap by taking the SuperTech Connector Series to the next level at Birmingham Tech Week.
